We must consider This treatise finishes some discover and design for this request.This treatise studies and designs the collectivity NMS structure of the Broad Band IP LAN, combining distributed data management and CORBA technology, A three-tier constructure NMS model is formed. Some common objects is designed in its middle tier , NMS function models in application tier can transfer these common ones through CORBA buses to finish themselves functions The application is divided into four functions according to itself function demands, They are the Resource Browse Module, the Configuration Management Module, the Alarm Management Module and the Data Collection Probe . The Resource Browser Module is designed in this article from the interface, data structure and memory to the program flow with C++ Builder in the Resource Tree.There are some introduction about the basic concept of broad band, definition and characteristics of broad band IP LAN and analysis of several broad band access technology in the article. There are also discussion about the NMS development history and the Network Management Protocol. It confirms the Changsha layout of Broad Band LAN according to the development of ChangSha Telecommunication, the collectivity structure is radicated about Changsha Broad Band IP LAN, its core tier choices GE technology, It is defmituded that the structure, address distribution, users' isolation game and VPN resolvement scheme in Changsha Broad Band IP LAN.
