Under the high pressure of the market competition, many organizations and enterprises have introduced many management theories which aided by the management information systems (MIS) such as JIT (Just In Time) TQM (Total Quality Management) TCM(Time Compress Management) FCR(Fast Cycle Response), etc to enhance the level of management and competition , and win the market competition. But as the result, it is not as expected after t-he organizations and enterprises have implemented their MIS systems. The business rules of the organizations and enterprises are continuously adjusted to adapt to the the market requirement, but the traditional MIS system is hard to be dynamically rebuilt or readjusted to adapt to the busniss rules and management system due to many limitations of the traditonal method and techonology of MIS developing and modeling. With the business rules changing, the new method of the MIS system developing and modeling is needed to map the new requirements or changed busniss rules to the model and code of the MIS system dynamically and smoothly. This dissertation discusses a visuaK dynamical and object-oriented MIS modeling technology based on UML (Unified Modeling Language) and RUP(Rational Unified Process.). UML is a standard modeling language recommended by the OMG(Object Management Group),and RUP is a process and method guidance of software development recommended by the three fouders of UML, with the characters of use case driven^architecture centered^ iterative and incremental development.A new MIS system modeling frame model is discussed in the paper which is called WFIRO model, based on the RUP modeling process model and the CIM-OSA analysis mothed of the aspect. The MIS system modeling technology mentioned above is just based on the WFIRO model, and it is further discussed in the two aspects of the WFIRO model:business analysis and system model mapping dynamically.
