Corba-based Distributed Object Technology And Its Integration With Web Applications

CORBA is a object-oriented specification drawed by OMG. CORBA has the advantage of system-independent> operation-independent^ language-indep endent , protocol-independent -, version-independent, and provides a solution for integrating the software with each other under the distributed environment. CORBA ., COM/DCOM and Java are the popular technology of distributed object. The amalgamation of CORBA and Java will be main technology for soluting distributed computing because of the complementarity of them.The paper mainly talk about the technology of distributed object based on CORBA and the application on integration with Web. First, I introduce the basic concept about CORBA and its kernel technology. Next, I introduce the state of the integration of CORBA and Web, and provide a new solution for the integration. Finally I introduce the solution of the system of managing the sale of books based on CORBA, and talk about its advantage and its implementation .
