Based On The Key Technologies Of The Capp System On Iman

In recent years,the Product Data Management software has been playing a key role in the information integration of Concurrent Engineering, Agile Manufacturing and CIMS. CAPP system based on the PDM can fully utilize the data under different environment. CAPP system also can make full use of the management function of PDM to construct the architecture of concurrent design.This paper presents the general structure and function modules of an integrated CAff system based on iMAN. The following key techniques in developing this system are illustrated in details:(1) DBC database interface technology;(2) Visualized process planning editing machine;(3) The application of OLE technique in edit of process sketches;(4) The application of Typical Process;(5) The queuing of process planning content according to process number;(6) The inserting of process symbols;(7) The printing of process planning;(8) The generation of process planning in 3-D feature modeling environment.
