Based On The Dsp Power Line Carrier Modem Module Development,

This paper introduces the research and development of a modulation and demodulation module of Power Line Carrier, which is used in the area of power line communication. After analyzing the principium of system's function, comparing several projects and choosing the chips (especially Digital Signal Processor and Programmable Logic Device), the software program based on the method of filter is designed with the developing environment of chips. Then the circuit diagram is finished by the mean of EDA software and the printing circuit board is designed. Finally the module is accomplished successfully after installation and debugging. It mainly consists of the minimum system of DSP, A/D conversion circuit, CPLD control logic, watchdog circuit, OP amplifier and filter circuit.The results of practical measurement and run show that the module meets the desirable requirements and improves the system's rate of performance and price. So the system has gotten well economic and social benefits.
