Landscape And Map Matching Technology Research And Realization

The technique of matching geographic pictures corresponding to cretain maps is one of the projects in the UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle) simulation training system which is in order to simulate the detection pictures matching geographic features of UAV抯 navigation position. This paper brings forward a simulating scheme about the technique based on UAV抯 flying orderliness and detection pictures?characteristics, researches the software抯 data structures and method about processing and saving data, finishes developing and debugging the software. The research抯 outcome has been applied in the UAV simulation training system ( version 5.0 ) which has passed the appraisal organized by the National Defence Science and Technology Committee and been used by the army.
