The Rnc Atm Bearer Platform Design And The Aal2 Transmit Function Of The Fpga Design And Realization

This paper first describes main characteristics of ATM technology anddiscusses the ATM network's performances and operation modes when it is used tocarry voice. The paper emphatically brings the hardware design solution of ATMplatform in RNC(Radio Network Controller)which mainly services for voice. Thispaper also simply introduces ITU-T I, 363.3 AAL2 recommendation, and gives thedetailed design method that implements AAL2 transmitting function using FPGA.
