In this dissertation we mainly research key problems in three aspects of two-dimensional computer-aided design and draft software. The first aspect is about the conversion of graphics formats Based on the analysis of several general graphics formats and the comparison of their features, we come up with the convert scheme using windows standard metafile and windows enhanced metafile as the standard exchange graphics fonnats and realize the scheme in DXCAD system by programming. The second aspect is about parametric design. In this part, we introduce the general principle of parametric design and analyze the features of several various methods. On this basis, a new method - Active Search Based Parameters Linked Dimension Drive - is given. The main advantage of this method is that it's practical. With the theoretical analysis of this method, we program and realize the parametric dimension-driven in DXCAD. The last aspect involve in the design of development interface. At first, several developing methods are introduced. And then we bring forward the criterions of evaluating the design scheme of the development interface. Based on the analysis of the development interface in commercial software system and the application of the technology about Windows DLL, we put forward the design scheme of development interface and implement the programming model.
