| Virtual instrument is a new model of the instruments and causes a revolution in the field of the instruments. VISA is a standard I/O interface software developed by VXI plug&play systems alliance. It is the key to realize a open and interchangeable virtual instrument system. The article based on the development of VISA discusses VISA in seven aspects: the design of VISA resource model and node model, the design of resource manager, the realization of VISA I/O function, the realization of events mechanism, VISA lock mechanism, the design of VISA error mechanism, and the experiment of VISA. The article not only discusses the ways to understand VISA, but also indicates the methods of developing VISA. |
