This paper is involved with two primary parts: one is about the design and application of the system, the other is about the design of hardware circuits based on computer. The intercommunication is the unavoidable trend of the development for the future communication system. So in the aspect of system design, this paper is focused on the design of point-to-point system based on the satellite transmission, including the analysis of system topology, the selection of transmitting protocol, and the structure constitution of the system with duplex transmission capability. After these, a test system with two transmission nodes is set up. In the aspect of system application, the design flow and implementation scheme of video and audio intercommunication software based on the point-to-point system are discussed. The main sections of this aspect include data acquisition module, data transmitting module, data receive module and data display module. In the first section of hardware circuits part, the design principle, project and application of the data transmission board based on the normal electrical chips are discussed in detail. The data transmission board is used to the way of synchronizing transmission that is a particularly novel way in the Real-time SAR Image Data Process and Transmission System and can nearly double the transmission ratio. The board can also be debugged even in one computer and has been used between the User Receiving Station and the High-speed Image Processing Station. In the last section of hardware circuits part, the design of the data transmission board based on FPGA chips is discussed. Because of using FPGA chips, this data transmission board can fit for other kinds of working ways, which is another excellent content in the paper. The developed interconimunication system and the data transmission boards have been tested in the experiment and in the real working conditions, which is proved that the designing is satisfactory and is supplied to the coming works.
