| Acid value is one of considerable quality performances of refining oil control. With the adding of thick oil, the acid value is getting bigger and bigger. Then a kind of online instrument, which can measure the acid value of oil product, is in desire need. At first, the basic conception, the development survey of the online analysis instrument and infrared spectral analysis are reviewed; the necessary and significance of the research work is showed; the technique innovating point and characteristic of this work is summed up. Then on the basis of engineering requirement and relating technique criteria, the final technique criteria, performance criteria and testing means are proposed. On this basis, the theory analysis is deeply researched, including analysis mechanism study in details. The work researches from infrared spectral analysis to the relation between infrared absorbed spectrum and the acid value of oil product, then find token mechanism of acidity size. Following these, the spectrum drawing of oil that is driven off is analyzed with pertinence. Finally, via the quantitative analysis of infrared spectral, a suitable online analysis method is ensured and the measurement is fixed according to the spectrum drawing of oil acidity. At last, according to the requirement of engineering, signal magnifying system, embed industrial control computer system and application software by Win95 is designed. Then after processing data, using RFB manual neural network(NN) and nonlinear function approach the math model is built separately and the application software for each method is designed. After the theory research and engineering design, two instruments are packed using two kinds of models separately. The result illuminates that the NN has great advantage, but still exist some problems at the direction of engineering. At last one of them is locally installed and carried user examination.
