Modern micro-satellites require the use of high and new technology, theincrement of capacity and performance, the decrease of volume and mass, the lowestof cost and venture, the improvement of function density nevertheless the spacecircumstances make the application of advanced micro processor limited. It isexpected that the ability of computers in data communication and image process willbe enhanced by some appropriate architecture, synchronously, the reliability of thewhole system increased. In the otherwise, if the reliability is enough, the radiationnon-hardened micro-electronic products can be used to heighten the rating ofperformance and price.After the introduction of several kinds of MPP schemes applicable in modernmicro-satellite, one MPP system based on bus-switch net is specified. This systemwas composed of three parts: CPU card, shared-mother board and extended sub-card.The key of the whole system is to design a shared bus controller called bus-switchnet, which is described in HDL, and realized in ASIC, with the help of advancedEDA tools and technologyAccording tO CASCOM micro-satellite and the demo board of the MPP systembased on bus-switch net, a operation system design scheme is present in chapter 5.
