With the development of micro-satellite technology, the function of micro-satellite becomes more and more complex and strong. The traditional micro-satellites which without operating systems can’t meet the need of the new function. With the increasing of the function complexity, the requirement of local program dynamic updating and system health monitoring become more and more urgent. Normally, micro-satellite should improve the function expansibility through local program dynamic updating and can recovery from fault through PHM.This thesis investigates the advanced technology of micro-satellite and the research of RTOS on vehicle in recently years. According to the AUTOSAR standard, we do some research on several key technologies of Operating System oriented to micro-satellites and implement an operating system towards micro satellite are caller Smart-OSEK OS for Satellite.Combine the architecture of Smart-OSEK OS with the new features of Operating system in micro-satellite area, this thesis firstly implements the real time operating system towards micro-satellite called Smart-OSEK OS for satellite. Customize the interrupts module, architecture and hardware drivers.Secondly, we implement an abstractor layer towards the micro-satellite hardware for quick transplant to new hardware platform.Thirdly, we implement the local program dynamic update sub-system. This sub-system supports the modular program update without rebooting the whole system.Finally, we implement the PHM sub-system. The PHM includes three sub-modules, data-flow monitor, real-time monitor and control flow monitor and support the fault handle.
