With the progress of science and technology, the uninterruptible power supply system (UPS) develops rapidly, which has become an indispensable power electronic device in military industry, aerospace and medical departments. Driven by advances in information technology, the emerging power electronic equipment appear constantly, the power quality requirements are also with continuous improvement. Therefore, the study of high performance and high reliability of UPS has increasingly concerned about the issues. Power frequency on-line UPS has strong stability and high sensitivity, which always occupy the important position in the industrial field, this paper mainly does the researches on the improvement of power frequency on-line UPS.First of all, it has done some research on topological structure for the power frequency on-line UPS, and then analyzed the control strategy of power frequency on-line UPS. Moreover, it introduces respectively the old models of the triangle and sine wave generating circuit, replaced by the DSP to control the generation of SPWM wave, and introduces some basic circuit after.Secondly, it establishes the ADC sampling, single capture, SPWM waveform generation and static transfer switch four part to obtain the master control program flow chart, makes improvements on the overall control system.And then, it establishes the simulation model of power frequency on-line UPS system by SABER simulation environment, simulation and verification of theoretical analysis have been done. The simulation results prove that the improved on-line UPS reduces the hardware sector, and it is easy to maintain and upgrade, based on maintaining the original stability.Finally, using DSP (TMS320F2812) chip as the core, it builds the hardware circuit of power frequency on-line UPS, and UPS experiment related to the performances has been done on the experiment platform. The experimental results show that the proposed structure of the control system is greatly simplified, performance is stable, and it verifies the rationality of plan.
