Although the structure of earlier PLC servo control system is simple, the process requirement and the maintenance costs are high, the noise is quite loud and the flexibility control is poor. In recent years, the DC servo system is replaced by AC servo system gradually, which has important significance in industrial applications.This paper is based on the bearing pressing machine project of Jiangsu Shangqi Group Limited Company, and the project is proposed according to the market demand. According to the mechanical structure and operating characteristics of bearing pressing machine, the PLC based servo motor system is employed to achieve in the control of bearing pressure. The design and development of accurate positioning realized by PLC servo control system is introduced in this paper, two types of system accurate positioning methods are employed which is manual and automatic operation mode. The accurate positioning and location display of the screw rod is achieved by employing high-speed counting pulse control of PLC servo system and by the settings of touch screen and the adjustment of parameters. The system hardware, software, differential signal processing circuit, and the design of interface circuit are introduced in details in this paper. The programmable controller is applied to achieve in accurate positioning of the control system in this paper, the system has the advantages as stable performance, high precision, small error, reliable and simple operation, convenient adjustment, intuitive display, less investment and so on. The practical application effect can meet the design requirements.The experiments show that the accuracy of the precision positioning system is higher.
