Electric power system plays an important role in the construction of the modern society, is the fundamental industry of national economic construction, is our country financial revenue producing components, so the electric power industry development, the key to development of national economy in a ring. The development of electric power industry cannot do without the scientific management, only by putting high technology applied to power system, only the development of electric power industry, and as a high-tech team of IT industry, has naturally become the key factors, the development of electric power industry at present, the power industry management personnel have been aware of the problem, in project management power system, have a database management system of computer technology, communication network technology, deep into the electric power industry, power grid renovation industry in recent years has been the rapid development, modeand efficiency of the management is also in unceasing progress, but overall, with foreign management level there is not a small gap, the reason is that the current management system of power used by the company are mostly early products, without the use of the latest technology at present, so the current demand with a power grids, power grid renovation project management system application of mature and efficient IT technology has become the focus of work on electric power company.The paper introduces the project management system reform of Dongguan City, Dongguan city grid research background, significance and current situation of research and application at present, clear and the main work of the paper content; in business analysis, papers on the existing problems in the system, the organization, the original business processes were analyzed, after the transformation of the business process is given; in the functional analysis, the paper through the data flow analysis and data dictionary, clear the function of the system, the overall structure of the functional architecture of the system was given and each function module,including system management, basic data management module, connector management, material requirement calculation, contract management module, material storage and acceptance management, construction management, engineering and other functional modules; in the data analysis, the function of each system needs to process data analysis, E-R diagram is given, the establishment of the database table structure; finally has carried on the summary to the research and analysis work, and the further work carried out prospect.
