Research And Analysis On Teaching Process Management System Of Jiangxi Academy Of Ordnance Technology

It is inefficient to manually manage the teachers’information, students’ registry information and academic records information in the Jiangxi Ordnance Institute of Technology. Thus, the computer aided educational management is quite necessary. With the common use of computer technology and Internet, the informatization of educational administration and teaching management guarantees the standardization of institute administration and scientific decision. Therefore, it is a definite trend to construct a highly efficient, open, applicable and strong network-based college MIS.In this paper, the research background, significance and a review on the present study about the teaching process management system in the Jiangxi Ordnance Institute of Technology have been discussed, based on which the major points of study have been proposed. In the business analytics, by analyzing the problems, organization and the previous procedures of the system, an optimized business procedures is proposed. In the functional analysis, by data flow analysis and data dictionary, the function of the system is defined, and meanwhile, the general framework and that of the function modules of the system are proposed, including the modules of teaching task arrangement, course selection management, exam management and course grades management. In the data analysis, by analyzing all the data that need processing in each function, the E-R diagram is given and the database table structure is constructed. The last part of the paper includes a summary about the present study and the prospects for the future work.
