The demand of the PA(power amplifier) linearity for the wireless communication system is creasing gradually. The approach by backing off the power to improve the3rd intermodulation distortion has an expensive cost, and the effect is not so good. According to the linear techniques combined with power back-off, we can get excellent linearity and efficiency. At present, the linear techniques for the millimeter-wave is mainly predistortion linearity. There is particular research about the predistortion abroad, while the predistortion linearity inland is at beginning.This program has taken a series of research about the predistortion linearity using the schottky diode. By applying this linearizer to a power amplifier, which has37dBm saturation output power, the linearizer can improve the IMD311dB, getting to-33dBc, when the output power is depressed5dB, which gets to the expectant goal.The design, simulation and debugging approach can be used in predistortion linear development of different millimeter wave band.
