With the development of computer technology and the improvement of the people’s standard of living, people’s requirement to the visual experience also more and more highly. How to truly reproduce the natural scene by imaging equipment, getting images that conform to the human eye visual features has become an important research direction. Due to the limitation of manufacturing process, general display device can show images with relatively low dynamic range, while the reality of scenes often has a wide dynamic range. In order to solve the problem of display high dynamic range images on low dynamic range display devices, this paper proposes and implements an improved wide dynamic range image(WDR) display technology based on high-speed and high-definition CCD imaging system, which can enhance the detail informations in the image and the algorithm is verified on FPGA. Meanwhile, this paper studies and implements de-noise technology for the image with wide dynamic range on this platform, to obtain more high-definition images.This paper studies and analyzes the traditional wide dynamic display technology and the mainstream engineering implementation. Study found that layered tone mapping has a good effect in extend the dynamic range of the image by enhancing detail and adjust the contrast; According to this method, this paper proposes a hierarchical method based on the guided filter, the image is divided into basic layer and details using the guide filtering, which not only can avoid the phenomenon of halo, and the optimized algorithm is simple and easy for hardware implementation. In addition, the presence of noise in the image will seriously affect the quality of the image, so this paper designed a interframe filtering algorithm based on multiple gaussian background model, this method not only has a good noise reduction effect, and has the ability to protect the image edges and details, also won’t produce smearing. For wide dynamic range image display algorithm and its noise reduction algorithms, the paper conducted in-depth research to improve the traditional algorithms, and validated the method in hardware and software platform of the laboratory, to obtain high-quality and high-definition wide dynamic range image.
