The author in the study and referenceto Chinese and foreign related work and academic thesis，on the basis of Chinesereality based on political and social environment， to improve the ability ofadministration of the political perspective，the rumors as the specific research object，combining previous research results，this paper analysis the causes of politicalrumors， influence and social control mode， in order to put forward somecountermeasures and Suggestions.This paper content were three chapters，the first chapter，the definition of thepolitical rumors and propagation characteristics，focusing on the analysis of rumorsand political rumors definition and types，political rumors propagation characteristic，the second chapter political rumor causes and social hazard analysis，from politicalscience，psychology，etc analyses political rumors as a result of its deep complicatedreasons and motives; The third chapter is the social control means of political rumors,from build good loose harmonious public opinion environment, establish effectivesocial control mechanism of political rumors, strive to improve the ruling ability tocontrol the public opinion, guide the healthy development of the mainstreamconsciousness from three aspects detailed demonstrates the effective social controlway of political rumors.
