"The classification and Code for Chinese Medicine Resources"(hereafter the Code) as national fundamental standard, initiated and facilitated standards construction for Chinese Medicine Information. The completion of this standard will accelerate the procedure towards standardized management utilizing the specific resources. For this, developing inquiry system for Chinese Medicine would push forward cognition of Chinese Medicine and its popularization.The inquiry system based on the Code was:Completed database design, saved related data into relational database, Oracle, and realized major functions by one-to-many framework;Completed system development by integrated B/S mode, ASP. Net frame and Language C#;Completed two ways retrieval, namely, fuzzy search and accurate search by way of detailed consideration and trial and error.At last, the system experimented by taking ginseng for example. The system feedback was analyzed combining the growth features of ginseng which demonstrated the feasibility and virtues of the system.
