Development Of Campus Security System Based On Situational Awareness And Mobile Terminal

Along with the development of society, there are some influential factors of campus safety, such as larger and more dispersed campus area, more restless students and lack less of management crew. So there are more incidents in campus area like student activity center, playground, library, student hostels, restaurants, teaching building and wherever the students gather. Precautions adopted by colleges and universities usually are manually patrols and video monitoring facilities, it’s a combination of manual-defense and tech-defense, but it’s far from fully handle with the complex situation.Campus security system should be established in the advanced, practical, economic, reliable basis, have to pay more attention to the campus characteristics, respect the privacy of the individual, emphasis on preventive effect but also should play its role management by remote access through campus network. This paper draw support from the high holding rate of intelligent mobile phones on campus, fully covered campus wireless network and video monitor system, using the technology of GPS positioning technology builds a system terminal application on android system and a B/S structural control system.This paper reviews and analyze existing problems of the campus security situation in use in the first section, then reviews the technology required for the investigation and prepared related technical details. Base on the analysis result and technic research work, the fourth part analyses the technical characteristics and software requirements of the system, designed the system structure and operation flows. In the fifth part of this paper mainly describe the realization of the specific functions like alarm trigger, alarm management and background settings, include application interface and the effects of system. At the last section put forward further development prospect of the system.
