In the context of macroeconomic rapid growth, China securities industry has been tremendous development. But this rising industry still faces many management problems. Settlement business is the most important part for protect the safety of customer funds and risk prevention by securities companies. Establishment of the centralized client funds and securities centralized depository, clearing, settlement, designated to pay the system to become a trend. Because securities business so many, policy and business level, business focus, partner relations, the status of the industry is changing, so we need for a flexible system architecture by business needs to adapt to the environment. Such enterprises to respond rapidly to changes in business, to use the existing system investments to resolve the new business requirement.Web Services is a distributed software technology, one of the mainstream, through a series of standards and protocols to ensure the dynamic link between the program. There has many common technologies and concepts with enterprise-class development framework for J2EE. Study the integration of Web Services with the J2EE architecture, can be greater play to their respective advantages, thus further reducing the difficulty of system development, improve the quality of the system.Based on the above analysis, this thesis proposed based on Web Services and J2EE distributed architecture for securities settlement system. Firstly, it is analyzed the present conditions and background of securities settlement, is emphasized the necessity to construct a securities settlement system, clear about the core functions and system work flow of securities settlement systems base on Web services and J2EE architecture. Analysis of the overall system architecture, functional components division and development mode selection. Then, based on the Struts framework, AJAX, EJB technology system detailed design and realization. The system design using J2EE level framework-four-level application structure with client, Web, EJB, database. The system uses Web services, greatly simplifying the system architecture, thereby improving system scalability and reusability. Utilizing AJAX to empower the dynamic effects on web pages, which makes the interface more user-friendly and provides a rich user experience. Web tier MVC design pattern using Struts framework, EJB tier SLSB and DAO design pattern. DAO operating logic of various databases.This system is a cross-platform, easy to maintain, scalable, high-performance, secure, open system, support in the business more than corporate settlement, multi-bank third party custody, support proxy settlement, and taking into account the changes in the coming period a variety of innovative business and settlement patterns. The design of the system is designed to use IT technology to enhance the core competitiveness of the securities settlement business in the era of transformation and innovation development.
