Research On The Current Situation Of Domestic Video Website Self - Made Program

The original program of inland video websites have developed for only a few years, and have been regraded as a important field of investment by video websites, so every video websites produce original programs one after another. The popularity of original programs is owing to many reasons, for example, a increasing price of copyright, the relevant government department’s control on TV programs, and video websites’ accumulation of experiences.2014has been regarded as "the first year of original programs", and many new programs is going to be produced, so the competition of original programs is becoming more and more intense and the situation of the whole video market will have a big change. Although the video website’s future is optimistic, now there are some problems which have bad influence on its long term and healthy development.Under the insight of media ecology, I introduce the concept of media ecological environment, media niche and vector populations, and place the original program in a macro, dynamic environment, and present the survival condition and growth process of the original program. I analyze the integration and competition relationship between the original program and other media, besides, I also focus on its ecological dilemmas and corresponding solutions to insure its healthy and long term development.
