With the high-speed development of modern information technology, how to use the Internet’s interactivity, timeliness and openness to further strengthen the publishing and communication process of academic journals has become a hot topic. However, academic research on "networked academic journals" are more concentrated on the macro issues such as the need for academic journals networking and the development prospects, only few people pay attention to the networked development of a specific discipline like journalism and communication academic journals.Based on the analysis of27journalism and communication journals about the network construction, the author found that only a quarter of the academic journals own their websites, of which with rich content and reaches a certain size are rare. The paper not only compares the networked development of Taiwan’s journalism and communication journals with Chinese mainland’s, but also summarizes the ideal state of the development of academic journals from3aspects-the users’ convenience, the richness of information integration and open platform construction-highly open reading platform and resources download platform, a fully functional online reading and editting system, digital publishing content updates in a timely manner. At the same time, aiming at a series of problems existing in the development of academic journal network such as imperfect network function, incomplete information and lack of interactive websites, the paper would put forward the corresponding strategies and implementation methods.
