| With the rapid development of computer-to-plate, digital proofing and remote proofingtechnology, the process of modern printing enterprise’s production basically achieveddigitization. The volume of business is increasing, especially personalized printing,on-demand printing and other short-board business are all in a sharp increase. Enterprisedigital assets accumulated more and more, which makes it reasonable to store massiveamounts of digital assets, and the efficient call is put on agenda. Digital assets database isbased on certain norms and standards, uses the database technology to plan, organize, storageand control digital assets. It can not only support the specification of huge amounts of datastorage, but also can quickly locate and invoke the stored digital assets. Thus, it caneffectively solve the problem of enterprise storage and recall massive amounts of digitalassets. Currently, the construction of digital library has become a hot topic of many expertsand scholars.This research is mainly launched from both theoretical and practical aspects. In theory,relevant information is investigated by literature researching. The definition of key conceptson digital assets are given, such as digital assets, digital assets database. Problems in theconstruction of digital library and the trend of future development are pointed out. At thesame time, a more in-depth study of digital asset library’s construction specifications andsome key technologies is made. In practice, the design of digital asset library system inprinting enterprises is implemented, and eight major modules of the system are identified asfollows: digital assets module, digital input module, digital assets processing module, digitalpublishing assets module, digital asset retrieval module, personal information managementmodule, system management module,and system login module.The main contribution of this study is trying to use a digital asset library of modernprinting enterprise to make efficient use of digital assets, thereby reducing production costsfor enterprises to create new economic growth point. Development and application of thesystem will improve the digital asset library construction system, and promote appliedresearch in the field of printing digital asset library.This thesis consists of seven chapters: The first chapter describes the background andsignificance of the research, analyzes the current situation of digital asset library researches;Chapter II defines the relevant concept of digital asset library and points out the problemsexisting in digital asset database and the trend of future development. Chapter III makes amore in-depth study of the digital asset library’s construction specifications and keytechnologies; Chapter IV, first of all, combined with the characteristics of printing enterprise, concludes that the printing enterprise digital asset library system building should followprinciples, And on this basis, analyzed the functional requirements and technical requirementsanalysis, and then build the overall frame structure based on B/S structure of the system, andthe system’s overall function module design; In chapter V, system function modules anddatabase design are discussed in detail; Chapter VI mainly introduces the developmentmethod, environment and the technology of this system, makes the typical module systembecome true; Chapter VII summarizes the work of the study and and puts forward theprospect of next work. |
