| Television, as an audio-visual fusion of mass media, is not only an important window for people to learn the society, but also an effective channel of social sciences dissemination. Under multiple background of economic transformation and social development, the breakthrough innovation of TV enterprise, as well as science dissemination booming, to answer people's increasing spiritual and cultural needs, social sciences in the contradictory situation is spreading around by TV news which is more and more diversified, specialized and intensified.According to a survey of programs broadcasted in recent CCTV-news channel, the phenomenon of social sciences dissemination in today's TV news is very common, and in diversified forms. Among this new system, social sciences staff, television news practitioners and people who are participating in the news events have all become disseminators of social sciences. Social sciences knowledge, methods as well as its concept and spirit are disseminated in varying degrees through various symbols of television, meanwhile, the public social scientific literacy has been promoted.However, social sciences dissemination in TV news is at an early stage, there inevitably exist some problems, such as pattern fossilization, quality bumping, master inconvenience and lack in inspiration, etc. Whether social sciences dissemination could get sustainable development in television news, this would be determined not only by maintaining and improving the viewership rate of TV news, but also by improving social scientific research capacity and quality. In addition, it is all the more remarkable that, current TV news on the social sciences communication is paying more attention to practice, reviews, executive position and result, but less attention to theory, explanation, professional title and process. It is urgent for the social sciences circles to be more initiative in social sciences dissemination. In television news, compared to natural science dissemination, social sciences dissemination still has large space of improvement.Social sciences is not only disseminated through TV news, but also by many other types of TV programs; it is not only disseminated in TV broadcasting, but also by newspapers, periodicals, radio and network. Social sciences, as one wing of science, its dissemination deserves equal attention by practice as well as theoretical research. Only in this way, social sciences dissemination itself could get scientific development, and the function of social sciences could hence be sufficiently realized. |
