Design And Implementation Of Uddi-based Web Service Retrieval Model

Inetnet is improving fastly and these improvements infulence the changes of the information technology dramticly.Base on the increasing requirements of the Internet-counting,Web Service came into being.In order to solve the problems that how to release and search the regedited Web Service,the UDDI rules were introduced.UDDI makes it is availale for Web Service to detect each other from the Internet,and the efficiency of Web Service is improved.In order to make the UDDI to be universal, the UDDI is designed as a open technological framework.On the same time, the efforts bring some problems,such as the searching modal is not detailed enough.According to the increasing numbers of regedited Web Service, how to select a more suitable Service from numerouse similar web Service becomes a new problem for UDDI registry to deal with.Base on the UDDI Rules,improving the Web Service components repository, we can consturct a new UDDI registry which can provide the QOS-retrieve.This kind of UDDI Registry give us a new way to publish and retrieve the Web Service.The very first step of building a QOS-retrieve UDDI Registry is to design a validate agent in the Registry model. The responsibility of the validate agent is to monitor the QOS of web Service.One more work needed is the confirmation of how many parameters should be use to discribe the Web Service's QOS.There are many choices about how to describe a Web Service's QOS,the UDDI Registry should select some specific and easy-measured parameters.Found on the collection of parameters,the Web Service components repository should set some tables to recorder the information of QOS.The Web Service requester will send not only the common conditons but also the qualitiy conditions.The UDDI Registry will compare the customer QOS conditons to the QOS conditions which get from the validate agent and feedback the web Service that fulfil the requestion.The Registry also sort the web Service by QOS parameters and give a suggestion to the requesters.Though that statistic and compare process the requester can get better sercices than before.The design and implement of the Web Service component repository should expend the UDDI Rules,especially in the tModel systems.To design and implement the model base on the Tomcat+Axis+Mysql platform,it can be found that the model designed could reach the goal.On the other hand,there are also some problems should be discussed late,such as how to select a series of suitable parameters and how to share the QOS informations among different UDDI regstries.
