At present, The traditional way of health food sales is to set up such sales channels as distributors or local offices and recuit local salespersons. The corporation could not access the sales conditions in various localities and the feedback on the products, and failed to have direct contact with the clients. As a result, hidden trouble was caused to the future direction of products development. The most efficient solution to these problems is to set up a call-center sales system based on CTI (Computer Telephony Integration). Thus by applying the CTI technology to the construction of the Tianjian call-center system enables us to have direct contact with clients, have first-hand sales information and receive clients'feedback on products. It is supposed to work well in saving operating costs, raising efficiency, accessing market information, and keeping consumers.First, the status quo and problems of the health foods sales are analyzed and the necessity of the construction of the CTI-based call-center system is pointed out. It is followed by a discussion of the core functions of the call-center platform and its major processes, including call handling, report management, etc. First the need for a CTI-based call-center system is made clear, and then the structure of the system is analyzed. In designing the system modular approaches are adopted and a detailed design is discussed of the core subsystems such as call center CTI platform and CTI report knowledge base, etc. Then next is a focal discussion of the workflow processing handling of call access, distribution, queue. Furthermore, the call-center system database is analyzed. Finally comes a summary of the system and its inadequacy is pointed out.
