Chapter One:introductionThe first section presented perspectives on computer application software education and concept map,and then proposed the content of the study and meaning of the study.Chapter Two:literature reviewAt this part, related researchs on concept,cognitive load and computer application software instruction are analyzed and summarized at home and abroad.After literature review,we find that computer application instruction was very short of researching,and cognitive overload is the main learning disorder in learning and using application;Concept map can promote learning in theory and practically,however,the related researches were mainly about declarative knowledge,and a few on procedural knowledge;Concept can optimize cognitve load in theory,but lacking empirical research.Chapter Three:definition and theoretical basisThe chapter firstly defines the main concepts involved in the thesis, includes concept map, computer applied softwares, cognitive style and cognitive load. Then it introduces and analyzes the theoretical basis on the basis of research subject.Chapter Four:research design and operationThe chapter firstly theoretically explores the feasibility and applicability of applying concept map to computer sofeware teaching in order to opitmize the cognitive load and learning effect. Then, based on the results of theoretical analysis, it explains the teaching experiment design. Finally, it describes the experimental process.Chapter Five:research conclusion and reflectionThe chapter firstly draws two conclusions on the basis of the results of theoretical analyses:one is that concept map optimizes the cognitive load in software learning, the other is concept map promotes the cognitive skills. Then, based on the reflection on the research, it points out the defects in the research as well as its potential research direction. Finally, it offers suggestions for application of concept map to computer software teaching.
