On The Dissemination Of Ideas Of Confucius And Its Contemporary Value

The Confucian school whose core character was Confucius had the great impact to Chinese. Analyzing and disgusting the communication thought of Confucius could not only enable us have a deeper understanding of the national communication concept and communication behavior, but also supply some shortcuts to solve the communication dilemma in modern society. This thesis used the perspective of communication, carding the main communication activities of Confucius by his visiting to various states, educating and editing the ancient books and records through the investigation on classic texts like "the Analects of Confucius". On that basis? this thesis studied the core ideas of Confucian communication thought and found that the most important value was "Benevolence", and "Courtesy" was the form and target. "Benevolence" and "Courtesy" was the internal source and external discipline in the course of enabling ourselves during the daily intercourse. As the directly expression of Confusion main communication thought, the six principles: "only elaborate the theories of the predecessors and do not have original ideas of one's own", "use the Courtesy to sacrifice", "the benevolent loves others", "clever words disrupt virtue ", "do not hide anything to others" were in special context and all had their own profound meanings. It is worth to us thinking deeper. Last but not least, this thesis explored the contemporary value of Confusion communication thought through three aspects which were:"reviewing disseminator's standard", "replying the trend of globalization with the principle of harmonious yet different", "using Confusion wisdom to amend our communication behavior"...
