Since the last century, China's armed forces equipped with various weapons and equipments on a large number of military CRT monitors, LCD displays and various types of terminals and other display devices. Because of the equipments were used in poor environment, and its aging problem, it is often failure. In order to help the military display device side locating faults quickly as to improve the efficiency of the armed forces, this paper researched many intelligent detection principles and combined with fault tree analysis, designed and implemented an intelligent display detection system.Firstly, paper analysised principle of the fault tree analysis and the display how to working, then putted forward the intelligent detection system's designation and implementation principle. The hardware includes display module, excitation sources, video signal acquisition module and signal acquisition module, and user can use excitation and video signal acquisition module to generate or captrue the video signals, such as VGA,DVI,PAL etc as to locate fault initially. The software includes video acquisition, video signal generation and intelligent detection. After locating the scope of fault, intelligent detection are used to analysis fault tree of the military display through qualitative analysis.In intelligent detection aspect, using display faults to bulid model through fault tree analysis, and then get the flow of detection, which play the guidance role, and user can capture the parameters of the current or voltage in the detection point, if the parameters are abnormal, we can locate the fault Finally.Paper verified the design methods of the system is correct and feasible,through actual detect the monitors, and the detection results are satisfactory, and the system is being used in some forces.
