High-power continuous electric tunable filter plays a vital role in the systems of Electronic Counter Measurement(ECM), Radar and Communication Technology. It is an important modern microwave system component that often demands higher frequency selection, narrower bandwidth, and lower loss and often needs to carry certain power. It has the functions of band segmentation, frequency selection, suppression interference and noise, raising SNR, and precise hopping launching and receiving as well.Many of Manufactures all over the world try their best and devote to competing researching and developing the tunable filters which have superior performance. Although the development of such field of technologies could catch up with the technological development abroad, there's still a wide gap between our nation and the developed countries. The technology reflects that electric power wideband tunable filter technology of China, comparing with other developed countries, is far away from market demand and it need further improvement and development.The relative developed tunable filter components at present are transferred electronically controlled magnetic YIG tuned filter and electronically controlled varactor tuned filter. However, the kind of electric tunable filter above has problems of low power capacity, high returning loss and so on. So it cannot be applied to high-power microwave system.Based on the description above, this paper presents the overall design concept and structure principle of high-power continuous electric tunable filters and the structure design and achievement of tunable bandwidth tunable microwave filters, the high stable power transfer process control technologies, precise transmissions and controlling components.
