This thesis is committed to the research of remote monitoring systems.Due to some disadvantage on the scattered belt transportation and poor ventilation, C/S and B/S system architecture combination structure are used in our the system, after the full investigation in the actual situation. C/S architecture use Delphi 6.0 which is an programming language based on the form and object, where B/S architecture are developed by JSP with many advantages, such as high efficience, good performance and first-class security. This thesis designed the overall structure of the remote control monitoring according to the analysis of the status to the coal mine in and abroad. With C/S architecture, his thesis mainly completed how to display, query the monitoring data and the statistical curve in Client, and generate the report table, as well as the development of GIS and the alarm function. Meanwhile, it also displayed the monitorng data in B/S architecture and discribed the function of the Server. This thesis also did some reasearh on some technologies, for example, the on-off control of belt, the storage the processing of the monitoring data. So, an remote cntrol system for the coal mine belt model is established, and an information management platform is implemented with the function of on-off control, the fault diagnosis and history data inquiry. The main contribution of this thesis is the design of remote control system for the Client. The Client of this remote control system can achieve several functions, such as, identifying the client users'identities, geting the Server assigned port and the connection interface, displaying the real-time data, the network connection status, the alarm information ,the history information data and the curve of history information. Finally, a conclusion of this thesis is made, the further study of this subject is also raised.
