Based On B / S Mode Network Test System Design And Implementation

Along with the development and popularization of computer and network technology, the network-based examination has already become a subject which have drawn much attention in the colleges and research institutes. Nowadays, computerized examination technologies based on network systems are widely used in academic examinations, professional qualification examinations, and certificate-oriented examinations. The Principles of Marxism and Ethics and Morality are two compulsory courses in institutions of higher learning. They range over various fields, so they are heavy workload for both teaching and testing. Through a in-depth investigation and analysis, this paper proposes an idea based on browser/server that regards items-driving theory as guidance, and then discusses the key techniques of network examination system in details.The paper also introduces the background of this subject , the principle of design and the theories of the network examination system,and analyzes the current situation of network examination. The emphasis of the paper is on those aspects such as managing subjects, managing question's storage, producing test paper, taking examinations, scores query, managing users, database security. Especially, the paper analyzes and explores the aspects of managing subjects strategy and producing examination paper mode, and creates a new way to judge the subjective issue by fuzzy matching the key words. The system has the basic function and a certain innovation. As a limit of individual ability and time, this paper only proposes the reasonable proposal in certain aspects and makes a bold assumption, but not make the throughout analysis and implementing.The system can be used for multi-course examinations and can be applied for various types of questions and exercises. This form of examination helps reduce human subjective factors during the whole procedures of an examination, which gives way to faster, more objective and safer organizing actions, and frees the teaching staff from arduous work on sorting, evaluating and analyzing examination papers. It can monitor the entire examination process. The author has also taken a series of measures for database security, data backup, disaster recovery, substitute examinee prevention, reaction for power interruption and workload balancing, so that the system is safer, more reliable, easy to use and expandable. At the end of the thesis is a conclusion on the whole system, where the author also points out some pending topics and the direction for their solution.
