While the China's airlines are developing rapidly, the demand for air traffic control rises at the same time, forcing the aviation administration to face the pressure to expand the capacity to control the increasing flights and customer volume, and maintain the existing daily duty. The traditional method and policy, which solely relies on operator's experience, is getting incapable to handle this pressure. Therefore, introducing Air Traffic Aid system can help the aviation administration to improve efficient as well as safety. The aviation administration is a crucial department in the airline system. Functioning as a control to airplanes, it's an important safety guarantee for the aircrafts, and any mistake in aviation administration could lead to serious, even fatal accidents. With relatively low technology and high demand for passenger air traffic, the conflict between the technique and demand is getting more serious. For example, to met the demand from passengers, the air traffic control in Chengdu Shuangliu airport faces 700 lift/land operations per day, averaging once every 2 minutes on a single air lane. Experience from the air traffic control officers is not sufficient to guarantee the safety, so the Air Traffic Aid system was created to help the officers. The Air Traffic Aid system in this article is based on B/S technical structure. The design and build of the system is completed on a central server. The clients only need a web browser to interact with the server, to operation database, acquire client-specified data, and help the decision making in air traffic control.
