With the rapid development of wireless technology, more and more mobile devices walk into people's life, showing the tremendous market value. The design purpose of this intelligent order system is to use the advanced wireless network technology, incorporation with embedded technology and touch screen technology, provide informationization reform plan for the Catering institutions, effectively improve the catering service quality and efficiency and reduce the labor cost, improves the image of the restaurant.This paper firstly introduces the basic concept of wireless order system and the domestic and foreign development situation, through the analysis of embedded system and several common wireless technology, confirmed the design of this topic, the whole system established wireless LAN by Wi-Fi, using C/S architecture, chooses PC as server part, the computer management software developed by C#, realized some functions, such as data receiving, storage, printing; The client part chooses A81E intelligent device as order terminals, put forward two kind of design schemes based on Windows CE system and Android system. The design scheme based on Windows CE system chooses c# as programming language, writing order procedures in VS2008 development environment. Another design scheme build Android 2.2 development environment firstly, then write order program by Java. The two schemes realized the functions such as add food order, pictures showed, data sending, design scheme of the system based on Android is improvement scheme, joined the remote checkout function, make the whole system more intelligent.At last, analysis system test results. From the results we can see that the wireless order system basic reached the expected goal, realize the client and the server data sending, print ticket, and basic order function. By comparing two design schemes, draw the conclusion, Android system can provide gorgeous user interface and perfect support for touch screen, more suitable to be selected as the operating system of ordering terminal device.
