Teaching Management System Design And Implementation

With the development of information technology, the education revolution and teaching management of university were increasingly modernization and information. Expanding of the scale of the current university, and the enormous growth in its total enrollment, the workload of educational management was continuing to increase, while the efficiency requirements were also rising. To meet the developments of modern university and the demands of teaching system reforms, an educational management system based-web was researched and developed, and the modernization and intelligent of educational management was realized preliminarily.The development of university educational administration system was introduced, and its architecture, system platforms, programming, database servers, and access technology were outlined and compared. Based on these, the system architecture and design patterns were selected. According to the business process, the system's requirements of the overall objectives functions and performance were analyzed. The foundation for the system design and implementation were also provided. In the system design, the overall framework and module division of the system design were proposed, and its database and security were designed. Taking Sichuan University of Science & Technology for example, the system was implemented. Its platform was based on Windows.NET, Visual Studio2005 as the tools, C sharp as the development language, and the background database system using SQL SERVER 2005. The detail of implementation process, the key codes and its results were also provided.The system had a unified login system modules, including three subsystems such as the department, the teacher and the student management, and its functions and security could meted the currently demands. According to the design and implementation of the system, the system could be improved and standardized somewhat, and gained certain economic and social value.
