The testing of tobacco leaf structure is an important process in the leaves of tobacco leaves and stems and then separated once again baking production.The current application is the traditional manual method of detection.In view of this situation in this paper,an on-line detection system of the tobacco leaf structure based on machine vision technology is designed.The application of machine vision systems and image processing is to replace the traditional manual labor,with a strong time-sensitive,accurate detection,pollution-free characteristics and so on.Through the export of machine that the leaves of tobacco leaves and stems sparating and then once again baking production line summary belt extension of a parallel system and sampling leaf to the line,the single leaf and image acquisition and image processing steps,the tobacco leaf structure of the on-line real-time detection of the system is completed.End detection of tobacco from the other side of the belt to return to the summary.The system of the test results are all kinds of film-based tobacco leaf area ratio.The result will be transmitted to the tobacco control system for factory provide the key data to the tobacco control process.The system and working principle is described and the sampling program and the single-layer device is discussed.On this basis,from lighting the way,the choice of light sources,the experimental background,the choice of camera,the image acquisition system design is studied.And then based on the characteristics of the image acquisition system,two image processing programming are designed.With the help of the MATLAB simulation,a best option is selected relative to the system.In order to facilitate the practical application of industry,VC++6.0 is used to realize the image processing programming.In order to verify the accuracy and usefulness of the procedure,the use of Photoshop software for image processing results of the comparison tests.At the same time,the physical prototype is developed and made.Through the experimental test and debug the prototype,the accuracy of the algorithm is further evidenced and meet the requirement of the practical testing on the factory.
