The goal of mordern remote education project in our country is to form a network for open education, and construct a life-long education system and learning socienty. Nowdays, althogh the network education in China is quickly developing, the education effeciency of school as well as real acquirement to students are far from original expection, and the most important reason which causes such a result is that the remote education is severly contrained by technology.First of all, this thesis gives a brief analysis about the diverse requirements of on-line education/meeting systems. Then, it analyses some key factors in such these systems, and proposes some solutions for these problems. Sequenctly, this thesis makes some brief introcutions to currently popular authentication systems, and finds an adaptive authentication system to the expected one. Moreover, this thesis discusses screen broadcast technology on WINDOWS platform, and then proposes three kinds of different methods for obtaining screen informations to match different computer performance and screem teaching content. The shared goal of these methods is to make users utilize limited computer resourees and bandwidth and transmit data faster and more reliably. According to the different video resoures, the differenct network enviorment and user requirements, the desgined system chooses an adaptive encoding scheme, and based on the QoS, the system chooses another adaptive audio encoding scheme. Furthermore, this thesis impoves multimedia communication model which is based on User Datagram Protocol to enhance service quality and it also presents a full realization scheme of such a system, which can make techer's AV informations reach customer terminal much faster, and on the other hand, it could ensure the remote terminals to receive smooth, fluid images and clear audio.
