The system monitor software of submonitor system for Satelliter Tracking and Receiving Ground Station provides the soulions to manage and control the equipment in station, control equipment to complete the standardized testing, as well as receive and manage all control orders and projects sent out by the station center. The former system monitor software is designed by tradionally central control method the shortage of which is unreliable and difficult to debug and expend. The CORBA combindes the advantages of Object-Oriented Technology and Distributed Technology. The Middleware based on CORBA is flexible, adaptive, extensible, and effective because it bypassed the detailed operation of operation system and hardware. In this project, distributed object technology is implemented to develop monitoring software for clint/sever model.Firstly the background of this project, current status, and development direction are introduced. Secondly the concept and principe of middleware and CORBA are briefly introduced and then the research of this project software including the design, the requirement analysis, programming, coding implementation and test progress are described in this dissertation.In the project ,server software adopt Windows 2000 server OS, client software adopt Windows 2000 professional OS, develope too is using Borland C++ Builder 6.0, Middle ware is using visiBroker for C++4.5 of Borland Corportion, int this project,we use event service to communicate server and client.This project had been implemented in one satelliter tracking and receiving Ground Station. Since This system is validated and demonstrated robust in long term usage, the roject has passed expertise appraisal, achieved the demand and gained good performance expected before.
