The foam-type water-saving toilet has four major advantages, which are water saving, pollution control, no smell and fertilizer production. It has a very broad application prospects. But there are many problems in the toilet control technology. Such as too much control cabinet, operation inconvenient, complex connections, non-fault self-diagnosis, remote monitoring capabilities and etc.For these reason, our task is to study and design a eco-toilet control system based on ModbusRTU and Web.The hardware consists of display, the central controller and foam controller.Central controller includes a serial communication module, the water level, temperature, power consumption, and water detection module, keyboard and display module and control module.System achieves the functions of each module by programming with STC11F56XE microcontroller, which has ISP/IAP function.Using Modbus technology, the connection become simple, construction and maintenance becomes easy. Central controller, foam controllers, and displays mounted on the Modbus. Display as the host, communicates with central controller and foam controllers which are as slave.System software includes microcontroller programming and PC-configuration software design. This paper studies modular programming methods in microcontroller programming by Keil C51 tool. PC can monitor several slave at the same time with the software ForceControl and Modbus communication protocol. And it can also publish in web.Experimental tests show that the system achieve the detection, control, display, modbus communication and web publishing.
