The objective of the paper is to reduce the influence for inertlal surver system by the random noise and the peak interference of the unknown environment, accordingly, the precision and rate of the survey can be advanced.The parameter of adaptive filter can be adjusted for meeting the unknown and real-time requirement of controlled object, so the gradient adaptive FIR algorithm is used for digital filter.The analysis of the principle, the parameter design and the performance simulation of adaptive FIR filter are completed, reaults show that the algorithm has the higer filter performance than traditional filter with fixed parameter in the unknown environment with the random noise and the peak interference.The gradient adaptive FIR algorithm is realized by VHDL based on the FPGA. The 32 bit single precision floating-point is used for the requirement of high precision and large dynamic range of inertlal surver system, and the design, compiler, Synthesis, function simulation, timing simulation and implement of each function module are completed. The results show that the gradient adaptive FIR algorithm based on the FPGA by using floating-point is reasonable and feasible. Its operation precision can reach 10-6. The design requirement is satisfied, and the each expected target of the paper has been reached preferably.
