| Recent years, the government explicitly proposed to develop Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and thought that TCM is one of the areas having the rare advantage of international competition in the new century. Our country's TCM is facing new development opportunities. However, current situation and the developing situation of TCM are not optimistic. In addition to insufficiency of government investment and inadequate policy support which has long been lagging behind in personnel training of TCM, academic level and innovation ability has also become a major restriction in the development of TCM. Universities and colleges of TCM are the main fronts of personnel training, academic researching and innovation, which shoulders the mission of cultural heritage, personnel training and rehabilitation and development of TCM. As the most core resource in colleges, teachers have been the key factor to decide whether colleges and universities of TCM can complete the above missions. In such situations, how to effectively carry out post recruitment of teachers becomes an important research topic of human resource of universities and colleges of TCM. Through this research, it has certain practical significance of improving teacher recruitment system of colleges and universities of TCM and promoting the development of TCM.This paper will choose Y University of TCM which is located at the southwest border region as a research case, take theories of HRM such as human resource planning and job analysis, recruitment selection and other related theories as the research theory frame, through comprehensive survey and study of the status of human resources, five stages of teacher recruitment preparation, recruitment, selection, recruitment and assessment, of Y University of TCM, summarize the key issues in the recruiting system of this University, and analyze the causes of these issues. Based on this, aiming at the China's present conditions, and according to the special characteristics of TCM, this article will learn from the successful experience of teacher-recruitment of American colleges and universities to propose realistic and feasible teacher-recruitment countermeasure with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. |
