As the most important resource of colleges and universities,teachers play a decisive role in the development of colleges and universities.Organizing a high-quality and high-level teaching team is a major task for universities,and it is also an inevitable choice for colleges and universities in the face of increasingly intensified peer competition.Private colleges and universities are an important part of our country’s higher education.Teacher recruitment is a key link in the construction of teachers in private colleges and universities,and its recruitment effect will directly affect the school’s level of education and development direction.The improvement and perfection of teacher recruitment in private colleges and universities in our country has become an important link in the construction of teaching staff.In view of the fact that the current situation of teacher recruitment in private college A has not reached the expected goal,it is urgent to carry out research on the existing problems of teacher recruitment and related solutions.This paper takes a private general undergraduate college(College A)approved by the Ministry of Education of Shanxi Province in 2014 as the research object.By referring to the research results and mature theories of domestic and foreign scholars on teacher recruitment,a combination of questionnaire survey and interview is used to finish the research.The paper investigates the recruiting staff of the school and 200 newly recruited teachers in College A in the past three years,and explores the problems existing in the teacher recruitment.The results show that human resource planning is not scientific,the recruitment channel is not diverse,the talent evaluation methods are insufficient,the recruiters are unprofessional,and the teacher assessment and post-employment evaluation are inadequate.Based on information asymmetry theory,person-vocation fit theory,and quality iceberg model,the main reasons for the above problems are deeply analyzed,and corresponding solutions and suggestions are scientifically put forward,including formulating human resource planning,publicizing recruitment information,improving assessment methods and content,improving the quality of recruiters,improving the training and assessment of new teachers,and establishing a recruitment and evaluation mechanism.The research results of this paper provide some theoretical support and reference for further improving and optimizing the teacher recruitment system and model of College A. |
