The paper mainly focused on the Teahouse Spree phenomenon at MinAn county, LongShan city, XiangXi Autonomous Prefectures of Hunan province. As we known, the Teahouse had lost its traditional functions and connotations, but it has appeared in a new image and transformed into a wonderful entertainment which have been widely accepted by the common people in LongShan city. In my opinion Teahouse Spree is neither a simple way of entertainment nor an economical situation.On the contrary, this emerging situation can be viewed as a social and cultural phenomenon,and it has special social functions. Therefore, this article tries to explore the potential reasons that account for this transformation.This article includes seven parts, the specific content of each part is as the following:In chapterⅠ, we explained the initial intention and the significance of this study.Then we reviewed the relevant study at home and aboard and explained the investigational method used in this research.In ChapterⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ, we firstly illustrated the investigational spot we chose and demonstrated the basic social and economical condition of this place. By taking Questionnaires and Structured Interview methods, we analyzed the characteristics of Teahouse and the component of its consumers, and explored the desire and motivation for this behavior and choice and the individual service in the Teahouse that people enjoyed.In ChapterⅤ,Ⅵ, we discussed the potential impact of Teahouse Spree on the social interaction and social structure,and learned that Teahouse carries social and cultural meaning.Under the background of social and economical transition, discussing the consumer behavior and their idea of Teahouse consumption inspire us to explore the inner motivation and intention,and learned that the existence and spreading of Teahouse in this remote MinZu region was related with the characteristic of the natural environment and its culture. Consumerisms and the Mass Culture has great influence on this phenomenon.Above all, the appearing and thriving business of Teahouse predict the financial condition of MinZu Region has been increasing in a slow speed.Therefore, people have spare time and extra money to enjoy their life.Their attitude towards entertainment has been changing all the time.They were no longer satisfied with the present physical life, the pursue for cultura needs is becoming necessary in life. The consumer's activity from the Teahouse has been viewed as part of daily life by the local people.
