This paper presents a detailed analysis on Victor Turner's famous literature "The Ritual Process:Structure and Anti-structure",beginning with the introduction of his basic conditions.The ritual theory of Turner is demonstrated increasingly in chapters with emphasis on the key points,and his point of view is exemplified by vivid examples. The comprehension and discussion is focused on the important information of the field-work, with the emphasis on the key concepts and paragraphs. Moreover, a compositive analysis is given with anthropological genres and standpoint in theory, as an extensive understanding of Turner's academic views. Some further discussions are derived on his views.The main goal of this paper is to give an objective review of the book:"The Ritual Process:Structure and Anti-structure".In this paper,Turner's academic theory is clarified with further efforts from more details.It includes four chapters.Chapter 1 gives the introduction of the derivation of the topic and its significance in theory and practice.Meanwhile a brief analysis is given on the current situations of theory of correlative studies.Some related concepts are defined and the methodology in the paper is presented.In Chapter 2 the introduce of Turner's life is shown,followed by the characteristic of his academic development and his main contributions. Chapter 3 is the central part of this paper.In chapter 3 the detailed content of the book is described and some comments on Turner's ritual theory are illustrated.Chpater 4 is the conclusion.In this chapter the characterristic of Turner's ritual theory is summarized,aiming at the evaluation of its merit and its limitations.As a generalization,some related further discussions are proposed.
