In recent years, universities are facing with great problem, stress and challenge in their development. To enforce the reform of education has become a heavy task for the universities. The reform should confirm with the development of economy and society. Universities should make clear the problems in their development, and they should renew their ideas of university administration to perfect the system of administration. By using the method of interview, investigation and documentary, this thesis takes one key university as an example and systematically analyzes the problems of it and the causes that trigger out these problems. The thesis also put up corresponding measures for these problems.This thesis contains three chapters. In chapter one, the thesis mainly discuss the problems that underlying in the education of this university. The first problem is that too many campuses cause high consumption and isolation of the subject systems. The function of different campus is not clear enough. The second problem is that the administration within has no clear developing strategy. There are too many branches under the main administrative centre. The administrative system among the university, college and department is not reasonable. There are too many colleges. The third problem is that disciplinary development of this university is not reasonable. There is no stress in disciplinary development, and the input of it is not enough. The subject is divided too small branches, and they are distributed in mass. This small subjects lack of high- level academic leaders. The fourth problem is that there is no innovation in personnel training. The aim of personnel training is single and out of date. The idea of teaching falls far behind. The fifth problem is that the scientific study and research is not connected with economy. The input of scientific study is not enough. There is no scientific plan for the administration of these researches.In chapter two, this thesis analyzes the causes that trigger out these problems. There are five factors. First factor is the misconduct of the government. Second, the change of the outside environment makes university directly face the market. The third factor is the history and the environment of the university itself. The fourth factor is the unreasonable idea of the administration within the university. The fifth factor is the lack of experience and the cognition of research.In chapter three, the thesis mainly discusses the suggestions and measures that can help solve these problems. The university should cut off some the campuses to save fund for better use. They should build a digital campus network in these campus, and reform and optimize for administration among different campuses. In the administration within, a sound strategy should be made. Besides, the university should insist on the administration in accordance with law. They administrative system should decrease the members as well as the university should decrease the numbers of colleges. As for the building of subjects, the university should make considerable plans for it. They should strengthen management, enhance investment and deepen reform; to strengthen the group working of discipline development and special discipline establishment; the education of talents should meet the present and future demand of the economic and social development of the local, the province and the country; to determine the education target of the whole university, to adjust the system of training of talents; to transform the training method; to deepen education and instruction reform with the purpose of cultivating initiative talents; to enhance the organization of extracurricular academic activities for university students, and carry out enterprise education; to increase the construction of educational practice foundations both in and out of university; strengthen educational and teaching studies; to establish good campus culture; to deepen the reform of faculty system; to establish a fine system of information collection and feed-back; as to the scientific studies, there should be more investment and more management, and more importance should be attached to practical and applicable projects, more effect should be made to transform scientific research into practical results; to support the group building of initiative scientific research.
