In recent years, the state of the social interaction of different MinZu members and their ethnic relation is becoming an increasing hot issue.Considering the uniqueness of MinZu University and the personality diversity of its students, this article takes junior students of MinZu University of China as an example. It tries to explore whether MinZu-Orientation exists in the social interaction of different MinZu members. If MinZu-Orientation exists. Was the of the extent of impact of MinZu-Orientation equal to all these MinZu members? What are the relevant influential factors? How strong does it affect the association of these different MinZu members? This survey mainly uses three investigational methods which are Questionnaires, Structured Interview and Participant Observation. According to our common experiences, consider the characterization and national consciousness these factors comprehensively, we choose the junior students of Tibetan, Uygur, Korean, Mongolia Zhuang, Tujia,Hui as the subject investigated.More than that, taking into account the diversity of characteristics which originated from the regional distribution, the habits of using language, cultural zone and national consciousness these four categories, we divided these seven MinZu into two groups, Tibetan, Uygur, Korean, Mongolia in one group, Zhuang,Tujia,Hui in another group. We compare them between these two MinZu groups and inter-group which students are from the same MinZu but distributed in different institute, and then we find out the variance of the strength of MinZu-Orientation. The research revealed that MinZu-Orientation exists and has influence on the social interaction of the students who are different MinZu members. However, the influence of the ethnic-interaction varies from MinZu to MinZu. Cultural difference, Personality diversity and different Language using habits correlate with this phenomenon. In addition, the extent of influence of Minzu-Orientation vary by students who are in different MinZu and students who are from the same MinZu. The reasons that cause the variance of MinZu-orientation include special and common factors. For junior students of Tibetan,Uygur, Korean, Mongolia and Hui,the uniqueness of their religions and their cultural diversity are the source of the variety of the strength of MinZu-orientation, however, nation-stereotype endangered the further communication between Uygur students and other MinZu members; The common factors affecting the ethnic-interaction mainly focus on four aspects: different language using habits which originated from the regional environmental diversity, distinctive family education, particularity of different institutes and schools, and various personalities and interests. The experience from the field work of MinZu University of China bring us some critic thinking about the reasonability and limitation of the present MinZu theories, just as "Primordialism", "Instrumentalism" and "Boundaries". We should integrate them together to analyse the process of the ethnic social interaction. In the end, we draw the conclusion from the survey and put forward some corresponding countermeasures about how to improve the social interaction of these different MinZu groups. The innovative part of this research mainly in three aspects:firstly, apart from the previous researches which discuss the ethnic relation from the view of MinZu outlook and National ideology, this research investigated the attitude of their social interaction and the state of their real ethnic-interaction to predict their mutual ethnic relation of different MinZu groups. Secondly, unlike the former research which just studied one MinZu or compared two MinZu, this research takes MinZu and MinZu groups as a unit,we compare junior students who are in different Minzu and students who are in the same Minzu so that we can realize the complexity of the ethnic social interaction from the view of microsopic and the macrosopic two aspects. Finally, we use Questionnaires, Structured Interview comprehensively so as to increase the reliability and credibility of the results of this survey. The weakness of this research is that we can't take advantage of the investigational methods perfectly as a result we can't utilize all available materials and facts. What's more, we still can't get deep into the heart of the respondents of this survey and comprehend them thoroughly. Thus we still have a long way to go in the future study.
