For the college students, the ideological and political education is a very important matter, which have postive effect on the young people's moral, personality and ideology. While the ideological and political education to the college senior play an essential role, and we would pay more attention to it. In the last year of college, students accomplish most of their course of study, and they will face to the society. So they should learn how to adapt themself in the scoiety and how to face the challenge. At this stage, the teachers of ideological and political education should foster students'self-cultivation, psychological quality, moral character and independent personality. But nowaday this field is still weak, wether education or research. This paper will try to study the ideological and political education to the college senior from the sight of theory building and methodology.The first chapter:Introduction. It expounded the former investigation into this field. Meanwhile introduced my paper'difference from those and the innovation. Besides in this chapter it summarized the documents, method and theory. And the difficulty and challenge was faced in the process of paper writing.The second chapter:the research on the subject nature of ideological and political education. In this chapter, it will probe in what is the ideological and political education and how to set up complete system in this field. It need analyse the quality, contents and character of ideological and political education.The third chapter:the research on ideological and political education system of college. Base on the theory of education and psychology, ideological and political education of college should have its own theoretical basis and system. In this chapter, it will study theories on higher education, and psychology, and finding some contents that will assist in bulid the thoery system of ideological and political education of college. So we can conclude the logical starting point, basic theory and intrinsic character of this subject.The fouth chapter:methodology and practice. Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth. Any theory need methodology well-matched. To obtain employment is a very actual problem for the senior sthudents, and from it we will find many experiences. After abstracting and summarizing, the fundamental methodology of this field will emerge.
